About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial Corporate & Investment Bank Technology (CCIBT) engineering and transformation office. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.The Senior Software Engineer will directly support the Market Data Service Layer, an internal Wells Fargo market data platform which sources data from multiple market data providers via connections to a third party service owned and managed by the vendor. In this role, you will:Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staffRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:4+ years of technology development and strategy experience in Full Stack development with hands on coding experience with C# .NET CoreExperience with UI Framework like Blazor/Angular/ React Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is added advantage Experience working with Oracle or SQL Server databases with ability to write Medium/complex queries Proven experience architecting and building AI–powered solutions, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG patterns, model orchestration, AI pipelines, and responsible AI practices. Strong understanding of GenAI trends, ecosystem evolution, and emerging capabilities, with the ability to assess vendor offerings versus build strategies. Experience embedding AI into core business workflows to drive productivity, risk reduction, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Passion for experimentation, rapid prototyping, and data‑driven decision‑making. Experience with Windows and Web services Experience in Event driven architecture using Kafka Event Streaming Familiarity with REST API development and related tools (e.g. Postman, swagger)  Build Unit Tests using XUnit and Automation Tests using Selenium, C# Strong JavaScript/Typescript and Advance JS proficiency and responsive design knowledge (HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap)  Experience working with Oracle or SQL Server databases with ability to write Medium/complex queries Hands on experience adopting and implementing engineering practices such as TDD, BDD, Developer lead functional automation, Automated deployment Experience integrating front-end with back-end services. Should have good knowledge of DevOps Processes and tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong work experience in Agile/Scrum methodology Ability to work independently with all stakeholders under minimal supervision should be flexible about work hours to provide better overlap with the US team Proven track record of leading large scale complex projects and influencing cross-functional teams.
